RealityTea.com:
Taylor Armstrong has been all over the media promoting her book (which has been released to less than stellar reviews according to Amazon), and getting a lot of criticism for allegedly fabricating claims of serious domestic abuse, mainly because fans – and now the media – are starting to wonder why there is no proof! Taylor had yet to provide medical records, police reports, or third-party testimony corroborating her claims; and many of her late husband’s friends and family members are speaking out accusing her of blatant dishonesty!

In an effort to combat detractors and prove that abuse actually happened in her marriage and drum up publicity for her newly released memoir Taylor released her medical record on her Facebook Page. The record is associated with last summer’s eye injury.

Announcing with a Tweet her intentions to release the document, Taylor stated: “For those who continue to say I’m lying. Ur harming women who suffer n silence making them even more afraid 2 speak up & get help. So… I’m releasing my medical records on my FB page in a few minutes.”

Taylor’s record from the Beverly Wiltshire Advanced Imaging Center stems from a June 22, 2011 appointment and classifies her injury as “Trauma and Right Orbital Fracture,” with the treatment including “reconstruction in the coronal and sagital planes.”

“Here’s the first record from the imaging center who examined my eye. Despite what the doubters have said, I will say again — this was not an elective, cosmetic surgery. More to come later,” she wrote.

“I’m not doing it because I have to. I’m doing it because I want to. Calling someone who has been abused a liar is abusive,” she added. Taylor’s medical records do not indicate how she received the injuries or what caused her eye damage, but they certainly substantiate claims that she did not have plastic surgery. Taylor has not released records related to any of her other massive claims of abuse, as chronicled in her book.

I, for one, have never doubted she damaged her eye. The question most people have is what caused the injury. I once severely bruised my orbital plane by banging my head on the roof of my car while wearing sunglasses! Now, of course, this does not mean Taylor was not abused or that this injury was not caused by domestic abuse – I still believe there was mutual abuse in that marriage – but many fans have difficulty believing her since timelines and stories do not add up. Plus Taylor has made claims unrelated to abuse that have been proven untrue.

Shortly after releasing the document to a barrage of comments still questioning the authenticity of her claims, Taylor removed it; stating the negative attention was detrimental to abuse victims. Reality Tea obtained a copy of the document and it is below.

“Thank you for all of the support. I’m taking this doc down for now. Because of the hateful comments it’s going to discourage other victims. It’s so awful that people still make excuses. If someone says they’re being abused. believe them. If they go one step further to show proof, don’t abuse them even further by calling them liars, or saying things like ‘doctors can be bought, ‘she could’ve fallen down’, etc. I’m deeply concerned about some of the posters on here and on Twitter,” she wrote.

“I’m glad this abuse topic is a hot one and is being brought out into the light. It’s shown me and others why it’s so hard to get out. Doubters, non-believers, name-callers and unsupportive people are also abusers as they keep the cycle spinning. Don’t be one of those people. This conversation will continue…,” she announced on Facebook.
